Whaddaya know about dual factor authentication?

Probably not much, but you probably use authentication systems on a daily basis. A "factor" of dual factor authentication could be, for example, a password to verify your identity when logging into secured networks. When using dual factor authentication rather than a single factor, security is significantly enhanced. Other examples of factors are biometrics, where you are identified by your fingerprint or a scan of your eye, as well as other factors, such as "tokens" which are most commonly USB keys known as "dongles" in the geek slang world.

Custom exhibit builders 2012!

As you probably know, our last election saw a massive spike in voter turnout... and it was an epic, historical election! We elected our first African-American president, and political consciousness among young voters was at an all time high... but next election, we need to keep things exciting and make sure every American voice is heard... so I say we get some custom exhibit builders to spice up those boring voting booths to make sure younger voters stay interested. If we had an exhibit company to design something more flashy, maybe more people would vote?

To be honest, all I really need is a nice set of Taylormade irons

I know that I asked for both Taylormade drivers and Taylormade irons for Christmas this year, but for all you gift shoppers out there... I really only need the irons... my driver works out okay for me... FOR NOW!!! maybe irons this year and the driver for my birthday?? ehh? ehhhhhh?

Need a custom Polaris exhaust?

Then Dragonfire is the only place to go. They retail all kinds of aftermarket Polaris accessories, including some of the best performance-enhancing Polaris exhaust systems... and by "performance enhancing" I'm not talking about steroids or nasty protein blender shakes. Only the best from Dragonfire Racing!

Looove my Polaris ignition!

Remember a few days ago me telling you the reasoning behind the decision to get a real Teryx suspension
set... I also bought a Polaris ignition for my bike, and I took it out last weekend. I had such a fun ride! Right before thanksgiving... I had the trails all to myself! It was awesome!!

Who wants to buy me some Taylormade drivers

We all know that I love to golf. And christmas is coming up, so what better time to get in the christmas spirit and get me some Taylormade drivers and Taylormade irons... anyone? anyone???

Here's to new Teryx suspension!

Thanksgiving weekend... the biggest riding holiday of them all, and it was blown when my wife went over a log too fast and completely ruined the suspension. We had to cut the trip short and come home and order a proper Teryx suspension set. The problem is that we won't be able to get the Teryx fixed untl after thanksgiving... so I'm just trying to focus on the positive--how smooth it will ride once it's set up with a tight suspension kit. Oh yeah, I also bought a Polaris ignition
for myself. it works out wonderfully!

Break out the NFL football jerseys!

There's nothing like relaxing on a Sunday, watching the game in your favorite NFL jerseys. There's something about wearing a jersey that immediately makes you feel more comfortable, so next time you and your buddies go out to the sports bar to watch the game, make sure you all wear your NFL football jerseys!!!

I'm really not one to complain or feel overwhelmed, but... baby clothes? come on!

But I have so much sh*t to do today! Not only to I have these stupid producers breathing down my neck for yet ANOTHER music submission for their stupid film that will once again be inevitably rejected and I'll be sent back to the mixing board... but my wife is dragging me out to go shopping for baby clothes and baby furniture? I need as much time as I can get!!!!

Why does life do this to me!?!

I'll get over it... hopefully...

REPOST: Trade Show Displays

Here's the original post:

I love 'em. In fact, yesterday was my birthday and I would have rather GONE to a show to see some trade show displays. But I didn't... I stayed home and had family over for my birthday, however... I did get a few nice mens golf shirts as gifts. Lucky me.

All in all, it was a good day.

What I FORGOT to add was that last spring, I purchased a very used and non-working trumpet from a thrift store in San Francisco... Anyways, I had been using it as decor, and loving the sound of brass and playing a dozen plus instruments, I really wanted to play. Anyways, my friend takes the trumpet and has it completely repaired... cleaned, new valves, dents removed, bell straightened, french horn mouthpiece... AND! I found out that it is a CORONET from 1934! awesoooome!!!!

Grow lights today for a better dinner tomorrow!

If you're like me, then you love to cook... and you love everything that has to do with cooking, from carefully choosing cutlery, pots and pans, to scouring farmers markets for the freshest organic fruits and vegetables, to growing your own herbs at home to spice up all of your favorite dishes. Personally, I live in an apartment, and growing my own herbs was next to impossible until I found out about grow lights and grow light systems. I shopped for them online at Access Discounts and before I knew it, my new setup was shipped to my front door and I was set up and ready to grow within an hour or so.

Let me tell you, there's nothing like enjoying a nice dinner and glass of wine, knowing that you grew the spice that brought the dish to life!

trade show displays!!!

I love 'em. In fact, yesterday was my birthday and I would have rather GONE to a show to see some trade show displays. But I didn't... I stayed home and had family over for my birthday, however... I did get a few nice mens golf shirts as gifts. Lucky me.

Baby furniture???

It was my birthday a couple of days ago so I've been celebrating and thinking... for some reason, about baby furniture! Baby furniture has changed! When I was growing up, my sisters crib and mine were both hand-made. Nowadays (i'd guess with all the home remodeling/design shows on TV) designers have turned their focus to cribs and are making some pretty fancy stuff. A lot of the cribs I checked out were much nicer than the bed I sleep in! Lucky babies!

Oh, I got a ton of NFL football jerseys for my b-day. and a BBQ. Yay!

Baby clothes? check.

Yep, I already went out and did my holiday shopping. I bought some wonderful baby clothes and childrens clothes for all the little ones I know in my life... See, my friends and family decided that we are all too difficult to buy for, so instead, we'd only buy gifts for the kids and keep the rest of our holiday money and buy gifts for ourselves! That way, we all have fun on Christmas seeing what everyone else bought the kids, and we save money to get whatever we want for ourselves! Personally, I think I'm going to take a vacation... no material item can beat that in my book! :-)

No More Tripping on Cords with satellite service providers!

Yep, that's right.

Wherever I go, I can stay connected without having to worry about cords, cables, or WiFi HotSpots with my satellite service provider.

Satellite internet providers offer me the reliable connection that I need, with the convenience of access practically anywhere in the world... all without wires or pricey equipment.

I wouldn't trade in its luxuries for anything!

Custom PC repair!

Computers can be pretty complicated to troubleshoot, even for someone who's extremely computer-savvy otherwise. Luuuuckily... if you DO need PC repair, there are specialists who can fix your computer quickly and easily. Oftentimes the problem can't even be fixed simply by clicking the mouse... you have to take the computer apart and change the hard drives & such. Computers are like engines... parts DO go out!

Anyhoo, when you send your computer to one of these specialists, they can replace those parts and have you back surfing the web and shopping for baby clothes in no time flat!

The key to a great round...

Is great preparation on each and every tee. So consider Blind 9 Golf to be your tee box. Carefully observe your surroundings... see the spots you like, the areas to avoid, and pick a target... choose your club carefully, and exact your blow upon the ball with precision and finesse. Watch the items you want sail perfectly into the virtual cart... leaving you with an easy putt/check-out which will ship your new golf equipment and golf shirts directly to your home or office... or the golf course :-)

Thoughts on the Young.

ooooooh my gosh I saw the cutest little kid today! her baby clothes were so adorable!!!

Sorry I just had to say that! It's kinda hard to describe but she had the biggest, brightest eyes and skin so pure! I've always liked babies skin. My mom tells me that the day I was born, she held me in her arms and felt my skin and thought to herself, this is as pure as a human being will ever get... as perfect as they come. from day one their bodies begin to go through wear and tear... but newborn babies are the purest form of humans... no opinions, no responsibilities, no thoughts... humans at their very essence.

I always thought that was pretty profound.

what the...?

organic baby clothes? what a strange concept. I always thought that "organic" was just a term applied to food so people will buy it and eat healthier. But apparently, organic cotton exists. It is made using no chemicals at all! So no pesticides, bleaches, etc etc etc...

very nice!!!

perhaps one day they'll make organic golf shirts for when i'm out on the course!

Things I Like That Have To Do With Golf, Part Deux

So, like I was saying yesterday, I really like golf shirts... remember?

well, I really like golf equipment as well. hehehe... I just began and ended a sentence with the same word :-)

Anyways, Since I like playing golf so much and I'd really like to be better and unlike many other sports, equipment is involved and important, (i mean, a basketball player is going to play about the same no matter what kind of ball he's using....) I love browsing golf stores and catalogues and websites and all that.

Whoo that was a really long sentence. Sorry. Golf really gets me worked up :-)

In fact, just the other day, I wrote an article relating the game of golf with the game of love. Maybe if I'm lucky, it'll get published somewhere on the web :-)

Things I Like That Have To Do With Golf, Part One

I really like golf shirts. They look super nice and come in all sorts of polo styles, but they are soooooo comfortable too! they are cool, temperature wise and style wise!

Here's one I particularly like:

I'm also quite fond of golf equipment. I looooove looking through the catalogues at all the new clubs and such, but... more on that later :-)

Randumb Memory

I just had the weirdest memory pop into my head... it was of my old baby bedding blanket that i had... it was a little city with roads and buildings on it, and i remember using that blanket, spread out on the floor in front of the sliding glass window panes that the sun was shining through, and push my little racecars around on it.

I also remember when I was a kid, I didn't like wearing baby clothes very much at all! I would always just run around in my diapers! I loved being outside and playing in the sprinklers. Growing up in southern california and having a high tolerance for the cold allowed me many topless days of fun!

Always in touch, wherever you are!

What can a satellite internet provider do for you? Plenty!!!!

satellite internet providers can hook you up with the internet, telephone, and fax basically anywhere in the world! Whether you're out at sea or out in a desert, they have the power to keep you connected wherever you're at.

With communications constantly becoming more and more important, their service is practically indispensable for those who need to stay connected in the most remote regions on planet Earth.

I bet riding a Polaris RZR at night would be fun...

That if you had some great high bay lights overlooking a field somewhere, you'd have a lot of fun riding dirtbikes at night. Just imagine, you could take your Polaris RZR out for a spin at 3:00 am! How much fun would that be?

For me, it would be a lot of fun! For one, I'm a night person (totally a night person!) and for twos, most of the places to ride get pretty hot, so you have two choices. Either wake up really early before the terrible sun comes and beats down on you, or get some lights and ride at night!

Forgetful Old Me.

One of my biggest follies on the golf course is being unprepared. I can't tell you the number of times I've grabbed my clubs from the garage and said "lets go!" and completely forgot other essential items, like water, sunblock, or a golf cap.

When I forget my golf hat, i always play worse. The sun gets in my eyes and ruins everything!

I should probably put a big note to remind me on my bag... that way i'll never forget :-)

Red Iv Orp Tenret Niet Ill Etas

How does one get the internet in remote places? Satellite is pretty much the only option nowadays, and satellite internet providers are becoming more and more useful for communications in the air, on the ocean, or just in the middle of nowhere!

Any reputable satellite IP will do all they can to keep your signal fast and loyal, because they know that in today's business world, a Communication Breakdown [yep, that's a Led Zeppelin reference :-)] can stop your job dead in its tracks.

That's why they'll do everything they can to diminish the malicious signal effects of things like rain fade, latency, and line of sight issues. Your signal will always be there when you need it, and your job will get done on time, and your clients will be happy, and you'll get more work in the future, and develop a reputation for being the best in your field... all because of your satellite internet provider... (well, mostly!)

:-)

Surfing Counches and Seeing Residential Lighting

I've been involved with this international group of people belonging to the Couch Surfer Project and it's been really cool! I've met people from all over the world and slept on many different couches... and one thing I've noticed is the distinct changes in residential lighting from one place to the next. some places are dim, some are bright... some people use lamps, others, overheads... it's really interesting what residential lighting can do to change the mood of the room depending on the brightness, the shade style and color. I think it's really cool... especially since I'm into flashless digital photography... playing on the light of the room is the best way to go!

Intro to an Expo!

When consumers walk into the center at your next trade show, your booth needs to attract their attention in a big way, and you aren't going to get that by building your own booth (unless you're a master carpenter and engineer) ... If you're like most people, a non-master carpenter and an unengineer, then a custom exhibit company like Expo 3 can help you out.

Expo 3 is no mom-and-pop custom exhibit company. Their work is truly amazing and envisioned, designed, and constructed by bona-fide artists of their field. You won't get a better looking (or more successful) exhibit built anywhere.

Check them out at www.expo3.com
They are based in Garden Grove, CA, but work internationally! Where ever your next trade show is, Expo will be there with you to make sure your booth stands out from all the rest!

Engaged?

With literally thousands of styles on the market, shopping for mens wedding bands can seem overwhelming. I just visited my newly-engaged friend and he was looking at some mens wedding bands online and found a site that sells truly unique rings--www.titanium-jewelry.com--and most all of their rings are crafted into unique styles from even more unique metals and materials. Since he saw those, he was pretty much set... now he doesn't have to sift through thousands and thousands of boring gold or silver rings to find the one he wants. Good for him.

Dear Thomas Edison, thank you for inventing residential lighting

Once again, thank you for inventing residential lighting. Without you and your prolific inventions, I wouldn't be able to sit here and type beneath the soft light from this paper lamp. You pretty much single-handedly brought electricity and residential lighting into homes across the world. Now, life doesn't end at dusk. We can see things all night.

Sincerely,
The Boleyn Gesture

People I Don't Understand

I've heard some people say that they don't like shopping on the internet because they feel its unsafe or they can't properly see or test the item before purchasing it. There are many people out there who would never even consider buying something like mens wedding bands online because they'd want to be able to see it in person, since its an important decision! But what 'those people out there' don't realize is that things have changed on the internet. It's become much more secure, and new compression methods and bandwidth increase allow for more high-quality photos and tours and such. Any good online retailer should show you exactly what you're buying and tell you all about it, and that's the same goal as in-store salesmen... but with items like mens wedding bands, buying them online relieves the pressure from the salesman working on commission in the store and leaves the effortless browsing to you. You can graze through pastures of image galleries and when one specific ring catches your eye, you can click it to see blown-up shots from multiple angles, and a full description that includes anything you need to know about the product... and when you're sold on one, you simply fill out an online form, you receive your new beautiful ring and your credit card is billed... the whole transaction is complete & all you've had to do was go from your computer to your front door!

Easy as Pie! Residential Lighting Pie!

When I think of commercial lighting, I think of those fluorescent lights that you see in offices... but in reality, residential lighting goes much further than that. Anytime you see a light or lamp in a non-residential application, that's a commercial light! Those gigantic matrices of lamps that light up the high school football fields on friday nights are commercial. The street lamps that light up the road when you're driving home after dark after commercial. Even those little lights in office parks that light up the planters at night are commercial. So if you need to find any kind of light like that, Access Discounts is the easiest and cheapest place to go... without going anywhere! Sure, you could spend all day going from Lowes to Home Depots all across town, but wouldn't you rather sit at home and order everything you need with a few clicks of the mouse???

What exactly is an NBA shop?

Uhh... this is an easy one! An NBA shop is a shop that sells NBA stuff!

Give me a harder one next time!!!

Support the Team!

If you're a real fan, you know that NFL sports apparel has to be real. Fake swap-meet knockoffs just won't do.... so it would be in your best interests to get some official NFL jerseys, so everyone will know how dedicated you are to your team!

Light Title!metal halide light title!

Thanks to commercial lighting, life goes on after the sun goes down... and since i'm a chronic insomniac, it's nice to be able to go out at night and drive beneath streetlights or play tennis at 8pm on a cool winter's eve.

I can even go play a round of golf at night beneath metal halide lights.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOlf :-)

There's nothing that I love more than checking out new golf equipment. Nowadays, to make things even more fun, reputable golf equipment retailers will have practice driving rooms and expansive putting greens, so I can actually use the clubs before i buy them (which is usually on impulse! :-)

Internet Anywhere (Wi-Fi can't come close!)

When you need communication on the go, then you need satellite internet providers.

Why?

Because satellite internet providers can offer you web access in places where DSL, cable, and other wired IP systems can't...

like on a construction site, far far away...
or out in the wilderness, shooting a movie...
or maybe in an aeroplane over the sea...

you'd need satellites to get online in any of those places...

Homegrown Roses... Indoors? Sure... with grow lights

In my opinion, grow lights are fantastic technology. They can almost perfectly simulate sunlight... with all the necessary UV rays, light spectrum, and timers to simulate the sunrise and sunset. Because of this technology, having a garden doesn't have to mean having a nice plot of land. Even if you're stuck with an apartment, you can still have a garden if you've got grow light systems doing the suns work!

Dedicated to my Mommy & my Auntie

Does your company have a big trade show coming up? Do you need your exhibit to blow the competition out of the water? Then you should hire professional exhibit builders for a *professional* exhibit. Expo 3's industrial exhibits are some of the most eye-catching there are. Check it out, my mom & aunt work there!
I'm the proud new owner of an air pellet gun!!

check it out!

isn't it the prettiest air pellet gun you've ever seen? haha. it better be... it was cost-leee!

When the time is right...

you'll happen upon Side x Side parts and you'll be happy to find them. You may have been waiting days, even months... when you find them, your patience will pay off...

there may come a time when you hear live satellite webcasting coming from your computer, and it may make you happy. It may make you think. It may offend you; you may find it vulgar. But the longer the web is a public medium for communication, your patience will be completely necessary. free speech will always stand, and it will always stand tallest on the Internet.

does that make any sense?

I've been doing some reading

... about 2 way satellite internet. This is my basic understanding of it: 2 way satellite internet uses two "channels" i guess you could say, each with its own dedicated bandwidth, and one is for uploading and one is for downloading. I think that's a really good idea because trying to do both at the same time on the same "channel" can get really slow.

Unique Part-icles

If you need hard to find Polaris Ranger RZR parts or Yamaha Rhino 700 parts, look no further than Dragonfireracing.com. They're sure to have exactly what you need!

Major Wow-za!!!

The concept of satellite communications has always intrigued me, mostly because they send data miles and miles up into space with precision within a couple of feet, and it bounces back down on the other side of the earth. Satellite communications is like a game of billiards on a table that's literally thousands of square miles across. How insane is that??!??

A Word (actually several) about businesssss

Today's business environment relies on satellite communications, and if you're not using it... then you're in trouble! With business satellite internet, you'll always be connected with your coworkers and employees, anywhere, anytime... and in today's fast-paced business world, instantaneous communication is indispensable.

Trust me!

I'm trying to figure this out...

what exactly is data center consolidation? i looked it up on the web (where else would i look?) and Stratavia.com says this:

By simplifying the environment and increasing manageability, data center consolidation offers a number of business benefits:

-Better responding to dynamic needs of the business
-Reduced costs (capital and operational)
-Improved service levels and system availability.

Yarr, a Pirate Poem!

Yarr, if it's NFL apparel you seek, then order it online and get it in a week. But if you need NFL apparel right away, Fed-Ex can deliver the very next day! (but it will cost you more of your treasure)

Some Old Sayings Ring True (Not a Ring Blog!)

You know the old adage, "dress for the job you want?" well I think that this applies for golf too. When I'm wearing golf shirts as opposed to tee shirts, I play better, because mentally, I feel like a golfer. So, instead of buying another couple boxes of terribly overpriced balls, invest in a couple of golf shirts and see how it affects YOUR game!

Ringing in the New Year (Halfway Through)

I'm in LUV with these titanium wedding bands. I also like the tungsten wedding bands, but I'm partial to titanium. I think it's because I used to have a really nice mountain bike that was made from titanium, until it was stolen :-(

It was a lot of fun to ride.

I Digest...

I remember when I was growing up, I looooved baseball... it was my life! I played every day with my friends, collected cards (and the miniature MLB helmets that came in the boxes of Frosted Flakes! :-) I didn't even like Frosted Flakes at the time, but I told mommy I loved it because I wanted the helmets for my Ninja Turtles... but I digress...)

Anyways, I always wondered why my parents never bought me any MLB kids jerseys. I remember I loved the Brewers more than any other team just because I loved their logo of the baseball in the mitt... I remember back when they stupidly changed their logo, my grandma took me to Pic'n'Save... and I found a bunch of fitted pro Brewers caps with the old logo... Although the 7-3/8" head size was waaay too big for my 7 year old head, I bought it anyways... and guess what? I kept it in my closet and found it when I was 17 and I still wear it today!

anyways, I digress... AGAIN.

Basically what I'm saying this that MLB kids jerseys really make thsi kid who's wearing them feel special, like he's a part of the team. And that's a nice way to feel... no digression :-)

Can't Stop Golfing!

If it weren't for commercial lighting, I wouldn't be able to break out my new Ping golf equipment and shoot a few holes after dusk!!!

Gardening Tip: grow lights.

When it comes to gardening in harsh conditions, nothing comes in handier than a set of grow lights. If your plants aren't getting enough sunlight, consult a professional gardener and ask them whether a set of high-pressure sodium or metal halide grow lights will produce the results you're looking for. Remember-plants need sunlight, but the sun's not always there!

Attention!

Does anyone know of a good place to get baby gifts? I have a baby shower coming up and I need some baby gifts. If anyone has any ideas, let me know!!

Basically Thinking Out Loud

Here's what I need to do this week:

1) My wife has a baby shower to go to, so I need to help her buy some baby gifts for the party.

2) I need to tell my friend Jon about these titanium wedding bands that I found online. He's engaged now to his girlfriend Therese...

3) I have a term paper due next week, and I need to write it before Friday

4) I need to pack for San Francisco this weekend and get ahold of James to make sure I can still hitch a ride home with him on Sunday.

5) I need to enjoy my week. I have the house to myself!

Referred from a Friend

Have you ever thought that mens wedding bands are traditional (boring) and expensive? Have you ever thought the same about ladies wedding bands? Well you're in luck. Titanium-Jewelry.com has some of the most innovative styles out there, at prices that can't be beat. Check it out.

Parental Duties, (I said Duty)

As parents, it's our job to make sure our children are happy and well adjusted. That means we need to instill in them fashion guidelines from a very young age... that's right... make sure their baby clothes are in style, and when they grow out of them, make sure their childrens clothes are still just as stylish. Then when they are old enough to buy their own clothes, they'll know what style really is.

Worried? Don't be... selecting residential lighting is easy!

Are you trying to improve the look of your home, but just don't know where to start? There may be one aspect you've overlooked... residential lighting. Though the fixtures can create a look, it's the light that the fixtures give off that really makes or breaks the way your house looks. So if your place seems a little dull, a little dim, then maybe you should get some new residential lighting! Access Discounts is a great place to start!!!

The Wedding Singer (Not!)

When I was a kid, I always thought it would be fun to play in wedding bands. Weddings are always a good time, everyone's always happy, and I love to play music... so getting gigs playing in various wedding bands should be right up my alley, right? wrong-o. There's one major problem... most people request bad songs!!!! I hate playing songs I don't like!! bleh.

Oh, Kids. Stop destroying my flood light!

Remember a couple days ago I wrote about my new flood light? Well, the darndest thing happened. The neighbor kids were playing stick-ball in the street and it got hit by a baseball and broke completely... the kid's supposedly gonna pay for it out of his allowance but I really don't see that happening... oh well. At least flood lights are cheaper than window panes!

Woo Hoo!

Check out these titanium rings! they're so cool!!! I'm having a little trouble linking the photos right now, so just go to titanium-jewelry.com and see for yourself. You'd be surprised by the number of ways they can fashion titanium into gorgeous wedding bands too!

Warmin' up the credit cards!!!!

wahhh wahhh! I don't wanna go baby clothes shopping tomorrow! Whatever happened to swaddling cloth? baby clothes are expensive!

My Future Is So Bright, I Need Sunglasses!

I've always loved huge, disproportionate shades and I'm elated to see that the designer sunglasses companies are making big ol' frames nowadays. Another thing I dig about designer sunglasses is all the knockoffs! I can wear all the latest styles at 3 pairs for $20!

Times They Are A-Changin'

I ran across some baby clothes on the internet, and I can't believe how fancy they're making them these days! When I was growing up, my baby clothes were simple. I didn't have multiple outfits in current fashions back in the 80's!

Buh!

I used to date this girl once who would spend ALL of her money (and I mean all of it!) on Gucci shoes. We were in High School at the time, so she didn't make much money as it was, but she would work for MONTHS just to get one pair of shoes. But they couldn't be any shoes, they had to be genuine Gucci shoes. And she could tell a knockoff from a mile away, even a really good one. So i suppose the moral of this story is, I can't be in a relationship with a high school girl obsessed with shoes? :-/

In Dreams

I found myself in a dream during the twilight hours of one spring morn. I saw myself in a thicket in some urban woods; I saw something strangely haunting and indeed, as I stumbled upon it, I realized I was surrounded by a veritable bevy of Roxy clothing! I was astounded to find a wide variety of styles, including the mythical Roxy Teenie Wahine, all of which were available for fair bartering. Upon my wakening, i did not know what to make of any of it...
