Forgetful Old Me.

One of my biggest follies on the golf course is being unprepared. I can't tell you the number of times I've grabbed my clubs from the garage and said "lets go!" and completely forgot other essential items, like water, sunblock, or a golf cap.

When I forget my golf hat, i always play worse. The sun gets in my eyes and ruins everything!

I should probably put a big note to remind me on my bag... that way i'll never forget :-)

Red Iv Orp Tenret Niet Ill Etas

How does one get the internet in remote places? Satellite is pretty much the only option nowadays, and satellite internet providers are becoming more and more useful for communications in the air, on the ocean, or just in the middle of nowhere!

Any reputable satellite IP will do all they can to keep your signal fast and loyal, because they know that in today's business world, a Communication Breakdown [yep, that's a Led Zeppelin reference :-)] can stop your job dead in its tracks.

That's why they'll do everything they can to diminish the malicious signal effects of things like rain fade, latency, and line of sight issues. Your signal will always be there when you need it, and your job will get done on time, and your clients will be happy, and you'll get more work in the future, and develop a reputation for being the best in your field... all because of your satellite internet provider... (well, mostly!)

Surfing Counches and Seeing Residential Lighting

I've been involved with this international group of people belonging to the Couch Surfer Project and it's been really cool! I've met people from all over the world and slept on many different couches... and one thing I've noticed is the distinct changes in residential lighting from one place to the next. some places are dim, some are bright... some people use lamps, others, overheads... it's really interesting what residential lighting can do to change the mood of the room depending on the brightness, the shade style and color. I think it's really cool... especially since I'm into flashless digital photography... playing on the light of the room is the best way to go!

Intro to an Expo!

When consumers walk into the center at your next trade show, your booth needs to attract their attention in a big way, and you aren't going to get that by building your own booth (unless you're a master carpenter and engineer) ... If you're like most people, a non-master carpenter and an unengineer, then a custom exhibit company like Expo 3 can help you out.

Expo 3 is no mom-and-pop custom exhibit company. Their work is truly amazing and envisioned, designed, and constructed by bona-fide artists of their field. You won't get a better looking (or more successful) exhibit built anywhere.

Check them out at www.expo3.com
They are based in Garden Grove, CA, but work internationally! Where ever your next trade show is, Expo will be there with you to make sure your booth stands out from all the rest!

Engaged?

With literally thousands of styles on the market, shopping for mens wedding bands can seem overwhelming. I just visited my newly-engaged friend and he was looking at some mens wedding bands online and found a site that sells truly unique rings--www.titanium-jewelry.com--and most all of their rings are crafted into unique styles from even more unique metals and materials. Since he saw those, he was pretty much set... now he doesn't have to sift through thousands and thousands of boring gold or silver rings to find the one he wants. Good for him.

Dear Thomas Edison, thank you for inventing residential lighting

Once again, thank you for inventing residential lighting. Without you and your prolific inventions, I wouldn't be able to sit here and type beneath the soft light from this paper lamp. You pretty much single-handedly brought electricity and residential lighting into homes across the world. Now, life doesn't end at dusk. We can see things all night.

Sincerely,
The Boleyn Gesture

People I Don't Understand

I've heard some people say that they don't like shopping on the internet because they feel its unsafe or they can't properly see or test the item before purchasing it. There are many people out there who would never even consider buying something like mens wedding bands online because they'd want to be able to see it in person, since its an important decision! But what 'those people out there' don't realize is that things have changed on the internet. It's become much more secure, and new compression methods and bandwidth increase allow for more high-quality photos and tours and such. Any good online retailer should show you exactly what you're buying and tell you all about it, and that's the same goal as in-store salesmen... but with items like mens wedding bands, buying them online relieves the pressure from the salesman working on commission in the store and leaves the effortless browsing to you. You can graze through pastures of image galleries and when one specific ring catches your eye, you can click it to see blown-up shots from multiple angles, and a full description that includes anything you need to know about the product... and when you're sold on one, you simply fill out an online form, you receive your new beautiful ring and your credit card is billed... the whole transaction is complete & all you've had to do was go from your computer to your front door!

Easy as Pie! Residential Lighting Pie!

When I think of commercial lighting, I think of those fluorescent lights that you see in offices... but in reality, residential lighting goes much further than that. Anytime you see a light or lamp in a non-residential application, that's a commercial light! Those gigantic matrices of lamps that light up the high school football fields on friday nights are commercial. The street lamps that light up the road when you're driving home after dark after commercial. Even those little lights in office parks that light up the planters at night are commercial. So if you need to find any kind of light like that, Access Discounts is the easiest and cheapest place to go... without going anywhere! Sure, you could spend all day going from Lowes to Home Depots all across town, but wouldn't you rather sit at home and order everything you need with a few clicks of the mouse???
