Surfing Counches and Seeing Residential Lighting

I've been involved with this international group of people belonging to the Couch Surfer Project and it's been really cool! I've met people from all over the world and slept on many different couches... and one thing I've noticed is the distinct changes in residential lighting from one place to the next. some places are dim, some are bright... some people use lamps, others, overheads... it's really interesting what residential lighting can do to change the mood of the room depending on the brightness, the shade style and color. I think it's really cool... especially since I'm into flashless digital photography... playing on the light of the room is the best way to go!

People I Don't Understand

I've heard some people say that they don't like shopping on the internet because they feel its unsafe or they can't properly see or test the item before purchasing it. When I think of commercial lighting, I think of those fluorescent lights that you see in offices... but in reality, residential lighting goes much further than that. The street lamps that light up the road when you're driving home after dark after commercial. Even those little lights in office parks that light up the planters at night are commercial.
